Located in beautiful Victoria, BC, the Lansdowne Middle School Music Program prides itself on having one of the largest and most outstanding middle school music programs in British Columbia. 350 students in grades 6 through 8 participate in one more of Lansdowne's eleven performing ensembles. Music students gain a wealth of performance experience at school concerts, community events, music festivals, and provincial tours. 

We strive to build a creative, collaborative, and caring community for our student musicians to learn in, and more importantly, to feel at home in. We maintain high expectations, helping students to work towards their full potential, to develop valuable life skills, and perform to the best of their abilities. We are proud to have students that care about what they do, who are great teammates, and who play at a high level. 

Parents/guardians, studying music is wonderful for many reasons, but ultimately, it's great for your kids. Participating in a school music program provides students the opportunity to become well-rounded people through perseverance, self-discipline, dedication, teamwork, accomplishing goals, experiencing disappointment, learning from mistakes, developing friendships, and being a part of a community.
